As an attempt to quiet the overwhelming crowd of displeased Canadian iPhone fans, Rogers Canada is now offering a 6GB data plan for only $30/month effective from July 11 to August 31. Normally the highest data plan Rogers was offering was 2GB for $115/month.
Rogers’ decision is controversial between iPhone fans. Some say they will now get an iPhone. As to others, they would not give in to Rogers as of now. They are still pushing Rogers and other cell phone carriers to lower cell phone rates in Canada.
