When you have a lot of things to do, you normally make a to-do list. One way to do this on a Mac is using Mail. But opening Mail and navigating to the to-do section isn’t alway productive, kinda of pain in the ass if you think about. This is one of the main reasons I like the program Anxiety so much.

Anxiety is a simple to-do list that helps you keep your chores in order. There are no extras; just a small, translucent window that disappears when you are not using it. To access it, click its icon in the menu bar and it will appear.   

When you first open Anxiety, you are presented with a blank window. You now have to start adding your tasks. To add a task, press enter, type a description, and press enter again. Once you finish your task, check it off and it will automatically disappear. Tasks will be synchronized with Mail and iCal so you can easily access them from your iPhone or iPod. 

This is a wonderful app that really completes Mail’s to-do list and doesn’t use up any of your precious desktop space. Anxiety is free and could be downloaded here.
